Three Celtic Blessings

SATB / 6 minutes

Three Celtic Blessings is a triptych of ancient Irish prayers, translated into modern English. The pieces are set, for the most part, in a simple homophonic style with extended harmonies. The movements can be performed as a set attacca, or individually. The piece was a winner in the 2006 Chanticleer Student Composer Competition, and the third movement ("May the Road") was premiered by Chanticleer in 2007.
