Have You Seen It?

SATB / 3.5 minutes

This short choral setting for four voices combines text by American poet, Walt Whitman and the 13th-century Persian master, Rumi. The theme is the mystery of love, which both poets explored from different perspectives. This piece was originally written for my good friend, Christi, on the occasion of her wedding. The premiere was sung by just five singers in an intimate liturgical setting.
